Our Mission
We walk closely with adoptive and foster families to strengthen the relationships that carry children and their grownups forward.
About Us
In 2010, Mark and Kelly Raudenbush welcomed their daughter home through adoption—a toddler born with a heart defect and diagnosed with failure to thrive.
As they navigated the complexities of medical needs, early trauma, and attachment, they encountered a gap in care for families like theirs. That experience became the foundation of The Sparrow Fund, created to meet families at the intersection of adoption, fostering, trauma, and special needs. What later became The Sparrows exists so that vulnerable families experience healing, growth, and lasting wholeness.
The Sparrows supports adoptive and foster families by nurturing relationships and empowering connections. We walk with families before, during, and after adoption, offering relational care, clinical expertise, and shared community along the way.
Looking ahead, we are expanding our impact locally by offering parent training, support groups, and more opportunities for adopted and foster children and their siblings. As we move forward, our desire is to be a beacon of hope for families, helping them grow and thrive together.
